having a pet
Please comment, is having a pet such a big responsibility that i won't be able to have one during my lifetime? i already have two terrapins but i want something like a hamster but my mum says i won't take care of it, is it really true? I think its just a small sacrifice to have a tiny pet. It can't be that hard to take care of, right? I know it will be hard to take care of but i will perservere until i prove to my mum and dad till they see that i am really ready to get one as i really believe i can take care of it. Stefenie(just to remind you my best friend), has the experience of having hamsters and she told me about it.hen we buy hamsters, buy one male and one female of the same breed. She has a dog, in fact ,two. Her mum just bought another one for her and her brother last thursday. Even my auntie has dogs and she lives in a flat. My mum says a dog deserves its own freedom, not to be kept in a cage, and my grandma is scared of hamsters(she thinks they are mice) so i must believe in myself and be responsible to show i can take care of pets.

Speaking from an experience pet owner, my answer is YES! Owning a pet is a lifetime of commitment (up to ten years or more if you own a dog or a cat) involving considerable responsibility. The decision to acquire one therefore, should be made by the whole family.
ReplyDeletePuppies and kittens are so adorable; it is easy to understand why adults and children alike would be attracted to them. Unfortunately their cute looks are often a disadvantage, because people purchase them without consideration or the knowledge on how to take proper care of them

You may join their educational programme or be a volunteer or youth club if you really like dogs.
This will help you to know yourself better if you are qualified to be a pet owner.
